Dress like a Fairy the whole year!

Autumn is my favorite season. Leaves burst into a beautiful array of colors, the air gets a bit crisp and I start to have visions of the warm smell of apple pie or maybe a hot chocolate with my favorite pastry! These are just a few of the great things about Fall. After the costumes and all that kind of stuff we are preparing our hearts to receive the next Holiday season.
I love each season because it brings me the opportunity to create, imagine and made new things…. But definitely, autumn is my favorite. For example, I love to make fairy wings and tutus… This is the way I can express myself. Maybe you think that because Halloween has gone there will be no more fairies outside…let me tell you that you are wrong. Fairies are with us all the time. Like my daughter said: “Fairies Rock”! Yes, that’s true… Now in autumn you can see fairies with tutus and wings in oranges, deep reds, yellows, and browns. It is very interesting because the fairies are part of nature and they change their tutus and wings with the seasons.
On autumn, fairies get dressed in browns, deep reds, yellows,
In winter fairies shows their tutus and wings in whites, silver, gold, red and deep green
In spring, fairies change their wings and start dressing in pink, light green, teal, blue, and yellow
and in summer, reds, navy blue, greens, are their favorites colors to wear.
Moms and girls love fairies, and believe it or not some dads love fairies too. Simple wings or detailed and elaborated ones are part of being fairy and when you add a lovely tutu like the classical or romantic style every little girl, teen or adult look awesome! This past Halloween season I was surprised due to the bunch of orders I received from girls, but for moms and grandmas too.
Each tutu and wings are personalized and created just for that person… when I am doing them, I am just thinking if the fairy is 12 months, or 1-2 years, if it is a special gift, or maybe for a newborn fairy… I enjoy making changes, imagining the face of the fairy when she receive the wings or tutu or maybe both…. It is part of living in the nature, my tutus and wings are so special, each one has a little magic … after hours of preparation, I spread fairy dust over them, and that is my final touch! It is fantastic! Magical! Unique!
That is the reason I get inspired with every season and especially in autumn, because I think it is the time when fairies let themselves being seen by mortals. If you never wear a tutu or fairy wings, is not too late to dress up and choose your favorite color. As I told an old lady a few days ago: inside of us there is a little girl that loves to wear a tutu and fairy wings imagining themselves flying over the woods while seeing the fall leaves dancing between the trees in a fall afternoon.
